Program Description

The incubator program for EEC clients is a comprehensive approach providing a combination of office space, and support resources and services. Acknowledging the variety of risk factors a business in the start-up phase is facing, the EEC will work to offer assistance at the time needed in order to forge a clear path for success and sustainability.

Support resources and services include entrepreneurial education programs, formal opportunities to establish business connections, and professional counseling and mentoring. Participants will have access to a Consultant Bank composed of County Chamber members willing to donate time and expertise to guide a client company through challenging business situations. Through the educational component of the program a curriculum with a focus on entrepreneurial issues has been developed by the Chamber and local universities, and allows clients to attend classes aimed at improving their skills and ability to manage their business successfully.

Some of the other on-site support features are access to meeting and conference facilities, IT infrastructure, office equipment (copier, fax, and mail), shared receptionist with the County Chamber.
