Thank
you all very much for your patience in receiving a summary report
of our findings from the October 2007 public conversation on economic
development in the Greater Newark Area. We were delighted
with the turnout and the many thoughts and ideas that came forward
during the course of the evening. We have attempted to summarize
and fairly represent all comments that were made and you will
find this summary attached.
Also
included is a list of action items that we have identified based
on many of the comments that were received. This is in no
way intended to be comprehensive. Rather, it is our attempt
to identify issues and opportunities that we believe can start
being addressed right away. As a network, we will begin working
immediately to advance these issues.
Moving
forward, we will continue to schedule public forums and issue
progress reports. We invite your suggestions and your active
participation in these important initiatives.
